Who we are
BravoLisa is a knowledge base for self-employed people in Luxembourg. It is operated by BravoLisa (bravolisa.lu) and published at wiki.bravolisa.lu.
This policy explains what information we collect when you use our knowledge base and chatbox, and how we handle it.
What we collect
When you browse articles
We do not use any analytics or tracking tools on our knowledge base. No third-party scripts (such as Google Analytics) are loaded.
Crisp, our knowledge base platform, may collect basic technical data to deliver the service (such as your IP address and browser type). This is standard for any website you visit and is necessary for the pages to load.
When you use the chatbox
If you start a conversation through our chatbox (powered by Crisp), the following information may be collected:
- Messages you send — stored by Crisp so we can read and reply to your conversation
- Email address — only if you choose to provide it (e.g., so we can follow up)
- Your IP address and browser information — collected automatically by Crisp for the chat session
We do not ask for or store any sensitive personal data (financial details, tax numbers, identity documents) through the chatbox. If you share such information in a chat message, we recommend deleting it after your question is resolved.
Cookies
Our knowledge base uses functional cookies only — no tracking or advertising cookies.

These cookies are necessary for the chatbox to work. They do not track you across other websites and are not shared with advertisers.

We have a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Crisp in accordance with GDPR Article 28.
Crisp stores data in the European Union. No data is transferred outside the EU/EEA.
Your rights under GDPR
As a user in the EU, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format
- Objection — object to processing of your data

We will respond within 30 days as required by GDPR.
Data retention
- Chat conversations are retained for as long as needed to resolve your enquiry, then archived. You can request deletion at any time.
- Cookies expire after 6 months of inactivity.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent version.
